To ensure your visit is as comfortable as possible, we’ve gathered the best local transport and accommodation options for our wedding. Please find all the details below to help you plan your journey and stay.
For travelers from abroad, we recommend hiring a car; otherwise, take bus 300 to Haarlem or a train to Amsterdam/Bloemendaal. Beach hotels are best reached by car or via bus from Haarlem station.
Schiphol Airport is the closest to Haarlem & the wedding venue.
Rotterdam/The Hague and Eindhoven airports are also available. Please keep in mind that these options are further away and will require more travel time to reach the venue.

Accommodation Options
For a stay near the church, Bloemendaal town is the most convenient (a 12-minute walk from hotel Bleecker). Alternatively, Haarlem offers the most hotel variety within a 20 minutes car ride. The beach resorts of Bloemendaal aan Zee and Zandvoort are just 15 minutes away by car. Amsterdam is located about 30 minutes by car from the venue.

We kindly ask you not to wear jeans or trainers to keep with the theme.
Parking at the Church & Venue
Street parking is available close to the church free of charge.
If travelling by car, we recommend arriving a little earlier to allow time for parking and walking to the venue as it's not a large area.
The car park at the reception venue is called Buitenplaats Elswout. The rate is €1.90 per hour with a maximum of €8 per 24 hours. It is a 10 min walk from the car park to the reception venue.
If you wish to use taxis, we recommend Taxi My Cab Haarlem (www.mycabhaarlem.nl). They are familiar with the Orangerie location and know how to reach the area directly next to the Orangerie. It is possible to reserve taxis in advance. You can also request a taxi on the day itself through the Orangerie; however, please note that this may take longer due to busy periods. When we call on-site, it takes at least 20 minutes for a taxi to arrive.
The Netherlands has an excellent public transport network. Whether you're travelling by train, bus, tram or metro, planning your journey is quick and easy.
